Local conservation authorities are warning of flooding this weekend because of forecasts of rain and rising temperatures Sunday.
The forecast is calling for temperatures above freezing and up to 30mm of rainfall.
”If the expected rainfall materializes,it will melt the snow pack and cause the water level in the creek and tributaries to rise significantly," Bryan Widner, water conservation supervisor for the Kettle Creek Conservation Authority, said in a news release.

Driver charged after Hit and Run
A 66-year-old London man has been charged after two-vehicle collision in south London Friday.
One of the vehicles fled the crash at Southdale Rd. and Notre Dame Dr. about 7 p.m. A witness called police and followed the fleeing vehicle, which was driving in and out of oncoming traffic.
Police eventually stopped it at Wharncliffe Rd. and Horton St.
The driver was charged with impaired driving and leaving the scene of a crash.

Libya Protest in London
Approximatly 100 protesters gathered on Saturday at Victoria Park to support the people of Libya. Promoting an uprising and the resignation of Qaddafi.
The Canadian government must stand up and decry a dictator’s rule in Libya, demonstrators urged at a peaceful protest in London Saturday.
Close to 100 people turned out at Victoria Park, protesting the bloodshed in the country — the third in the Middle East to revolt against ruthless dictators this year.
“The Canadian government is still silent about this and we haven’t heard anything. That’s why I’m here and my son is here,” said Abdul Ergig, who was born in Libya the year Moammar Gadhafi took power in 1969 and was raised under his iron rule.
Ergig, who turned out at the protest with his young son, said life in Libya under Gadhafi was miserable.
“The whole country suffered because of (Gadhafi’s) leadership,” he said, adding the country had low education levels and was under economic sanctions because of the dictator.
Ergig said his family in Libya is fine, but are under constant fear that they’ll be killed at any time.
“The killing there is at random,” he said.
Many have died since the Libyan people began protesting Feb. 17. The 68-year-old dictator has since responded by bombing the crowds.
