A Canadian man says he has been treated humanely while being held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan, a newly released video shows.
Colin Mackenzie Rutherford, 27, is seen sitting in front of a canvas background in the undated video, posted online Sunday. He is wearing a grey coat and green pants, and sits with his hands on his knees.
He confirms his name, his father's name and age as 26 in the video, indicating it was likely shot before his birthday on Dec. 21.

Man charged with child porn
A 51-year-old London man faces child pornography charges after an investigation by the city police cyber crime unit.
Stephen Cornish is charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of making available child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography, London police said Saturday.

Missing woman found dead
Police divers have found the body of a missing Leamington woman in a car in Lake Erie.
Family members reported Maria Correia, 50, was missing Wednesday after she failed to return from shopping for groceries.
The OPP marine and underwater units found her body in Wheatley Harbour, about 10 kilometres west of Leamington, Friday.
Essex OPP said Saturday they had no evidence of foul play.
A post mortem was scheduled at a Windsor hospital Saturday.

A 44-year-old man was walking at about 8:15 Saturday morning when two men approached him.
The two men cornered him in a doorway and tried to take his laptop.
The man refused and the two began to punch and kick him in the face and ribs until he let go of the laptop.
A 19-year-old London man was charged with robbery.
Police are looking for a white male, 20 to 23 years old, 5’7” tall and weighing about 174 lbs.
