Purse snatching probed.

London police are investigating a purse snatching in the city Friday night.
It was about 9:30 p.m. Friday when the woman, walking near the intersection of Andover Dr. and Ensign Dr., felt a strong pull on her purse from behind, knocking her to the ground. .
The man fled with her identification and a small amount of money. Police say the suspect is a white man standing about five-foot-nine with shaved blond hair. He was wearing jeans, a red hooded sweatshirt and black jacket.

Other firms playing a role in hospital build.

Along with general contractor EllisDon Some other London firms are playing a part in the $830 million project to construct regional mental health care centres in London and St. Thomas.
Architects Tillmann Ruth Mocellin, a London based firm and Parkin Architects Ltd. (Toronto) are in joint venture for both facilities.
The structural engineering for the project is being produced by London based Hastings and Aziz and the landscape architecture is being produced by the London based firm of Ron Koudys Landscape Architects.

INFUSION Canada hosted their Lingerie Fashion Show at The London Tap House. Tap House provided appetizers to all the guests. Live entertainment consisted of a pole dancer, volunteer models and volunteer dancers. Listowel mourns

LISTOWEL -— sadness enveloped Listowel on Friday, as the small town mourned the loss of two firefighters killed in a store fire when the roof collapsed.
Black bows were tied to poles and planters and other fixtures downtown, of which a large block was closed as police, firefighters and investigators — aided by structural engineers — tried to find a way to remove the bodies of North Perth volunteer firefighters Raymond (Ray) Walter, 30, of Listowel, and Ken Rea, 56, the deputy district chief from Atwood.

LISTOWEL - Two North Perth volunteer firefighters were killed Thursday battling a fire that began in a dollar store whose roof collapsed.
Several firefighters were inside the Dollar Stop building when the roof collapsed.
Two firefighters were trapped in the building and later found dead.
They have been identified as Raymond (Ray) Walter, 30, from Listowel and Kenneth (Ken) Rea, 55, from Atwood.
Police said both men were married.
Listowel residents had gathered at the scene, milling about, a nervous tension filling the air.
