Delinquents assault London man

A London man was assaulted with a skateboard and shot with a pellet gun outside his home early Sunday morning.
The victim said he heard a group of males yelling and making noises outside, police said.
The man ask the teens to be quiet, and they went after him, assaulting him with a skateboard, and shooting at him five or six times with a pellet gun, police said.
The suspects were described as being white males, between 16 and 19 years old.

Another senior dead in collision

An 85-year-old man died Saturday night, after a crash at Wonderland and Medway roads.

Middlesex OPP had not yet released the identity of the elderly man who had been driving south on Wonderland when his car approached a stop sign at Medway, then "entered the intersection and collided with an eastbound (car)," according to a Sunday morning news release.

Paramedics took the man to hospital, where he later died, police said.
