Two London men have been charged after officers working the downtown beat witnessed a deal go down.
The foot patrol officers were at Dundas and Richmond streets about 6 p.m. Wednesday when they saw the two men make a deal.
Police said they seized 1.1 grams of marijuana, six 60mg morphine tablets and a 100 mg morphine tablet.
Charged with possession is a 25-year-old man. Charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking is a 38-year-old man.

Gunman fatally shoots 12 at a Rio de Janeiro school
RIO DE JANEIRO - A gunman fatally shot 12 people at a Rio de Janeiro school before killing himself, police said Thursday.
The incident apparently was unrelated to the city’s gang violence.
“A former student entered the school with a weapon. It is not known why he fired,”. He said at least 20 people were wounded in the attack.
Police exchanged gunfire with the assailant, who was carrying two guns and a suicide note, before he killed himself, another police official told local media.
Another tsunami warning issued in Japan
TOKYO - A strong earthquake of magnitude 7.4 shook northeast and eastern Japan late on Thursday, and a tsunami warning was issued for the northeastern coast of Japan, an area badly hit by the March 11 earthquake.

Man seriously injured in collision
A two-vehicle crash southeast of Embro has seriously injured a 17-year-old man.
Oxford County OPP said the vehicles collided at the intersection of 43rd Line and Zorra Rd. 74 about 5 p.m. Wednesday.
The 17-year-old, a passenger in one of the vehicles, was taken by ambulance to Woodstock General Hospital and then transferred to London Health Sciences Centre.
The two drivers and three children received only minor injuries.
Police closed the intersection until 9 p.m.
