Fatal collision in Northwest London.

One person was killed and two injured in a two-car crash northwest of London Thursday at about 1:40 p.m..
Police say the intersection of Egremont Dr. and Cold Stream Rd. will likely be closed until 7 p.m. as investigators probe the scene.
 Const. Chris Hunter said a northbound car driven by an adult male stopped for the stop sign at the intersection, then pulled into the path of an eastbound car driven by a woman.

London man dead after crane accident

A London man is dead after an accident at a Kitchener construction site on Wednesday.
Emergency workers were called at about 10:10 a.m. to a workplace accident on Belmont Ave. West in Kitchener.
The 42-year-old London man was hit on the head and shoulders by a massive concrete block that weighs hundreds of kilograms, reports said.
The 42-year-old London man was found seriously injured. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The death isn't considered suspicious.

London's "stalker rate" low

London has one of the lower stalking rates in Ontario, according to a Statistics Canada study.
Defined as repeated conduct over a period of time that causes victims to reasonably fear for their safety, examples include repeatedly following or communicating with another person, repeatedly watching someone's house or workplace, or directly threatening another person or member of their family.
The rate for metropolitan areas across the country was measured as the number of incidents per 100,000 population. London’s rate was 42

Man jailed after threats

SARNIA - A Lambton County man who frightened a woman with an angry reference to the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Colorado was sentenced Tuesday to 45 days in jail.
Christopher Boucquez, 41, of Port Lambton in southern Ontario, pleaded guilty to threatening to harm the woman, possession of oxycodone and violating a court order.
Boucquez was communicating with a woman  via Facebook on Feb. 19 when he said he was at the end of his rope.
