Councillors on London’s community and neighbourhoods committee asked city staff to research London’s payday loan service situation.
The issue came up at a committee meeting Tuesday after councillors looked at a public letter from the Homeless Coalition, criticizing a new loan and cheque-cashing business run by Tim Best in the same building as the welfare office.
