The Thames Valley District School Board is implementing new homework guidelines that could give students a break from work over the holidays.
A document posted on the Thames Valley District School Board website from the Program Services department outlines the new procedures that set homework time limits for students depending on their grade. The guidelines, set to take effect next fall, were written in response to questions and concerns regarding “the nature and use of homework” in schools.
