A Canadian man says he has been treated humanely while being held captive by the Taliban in Afghanistan, a newly released video shows.
Colin Mackenzie Rutherford, 27, is seen sitting in front of a canvas background in the undated video, posted online Sunday. He is wearing a grey coat and green pants, and sits with his hands on his knees.
He confirms his name, his father's name and age as 26 in the video, indicating it was likely shot before his birthday on Dec. 21.
