Drivers warned to beware

Police are telling drivers to be cautious after numerous reports of crashes in the area.
Lambton OPP issued a statement Friday morning asking drivers to think twice before venturing out.
School buses have been canceled in Elgin County
Police have been busy responding to vehicles in the ditch along London Line and Hwy. 402 between Oil Heritage Road and Airport Road.
No injuries have been reported but road conditions there and in other areas of the county are reportedly poor, Lambton OPP said.
There have also been reports of drivers in the ditch along Hwy. 401. The asked drivers to keep their eyes and ears open for the emergency vehicles that are out there assisting stranded motorists.
"Please adjust your driving to the conditions you are experiencing. That means slow down, keep your mind on your driving, eyes on the roadway and hands on the steering wheel," a statement released by police said.
