Drunk driver caught doing 190


Chatham-Kent OPP arrested an impaired driver going 190 km/hr on the 401 early Tuesday morning.
Responding to a report from a concerned motorist, OPP pulled over a driver at 3:13 a.m. after clocking the vehicle driving between 141 km/hr and 190 km/hr. The driver had double the legal limit of alcohol in his system.
A 27-year-old Windsor man faces nine charges, including racing a motor vehicle, impaired driving, exceeding 80 milligrams blood alcohol content and driving with a G1 license on a prohibited highway.
