Some downtown London businesses are fuming over “arrogant” construction contractors they say are blocking customer access in a project taking twice as long as planned.
The city says the contractors on a stretch of York St. near Richmond St. aren’t breaking any bylaws, and the work is a temporary inconvenience for a long-term benefit.
But business owners are still frustrated over blocked sidewalks and laneways affecting their bottom lines.
