Student safety was a focus for a provincial parents' group that held its annual meeting in London on the weekend.
The Ontario Federation of Home and School Associations -- akin to a PTA -- marked its 95th anniversary with a conference that examined the new-age pressures facing children, notably overall school safety in all grades.
"A lot of our members are here to be sure our children are in an environment that's safe," said group president Corinne Wolsey of Kincardine.
