Slowdowns at area Toyota plants have been extended until June due to the ongoing parts shortage following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
Employees at the Woodstock facility were notified yesterday that the plant will be shut down between May 23-27.
Production will also be halted on Monday and Fridays, with cars only being built on the day shift Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
More slowdowns are anticipated.
