An anti-violence advocate is raising concerns that the training made mandatory for all London city councilors has so far only been taken by one of them.
Coun. Stephen Orser, whose online misstep led city hall to make the so-called I Step Forward anti-violence training a must for city council, is the lone councillor to complete the two-hour course.
"It's disappointing, it's disheartening, it shows a lack of leadership and it's irresponsible," said Megan Walker of the London Abused Women's Centre.
