MELBOURNE - Police divers are facing tougher conditions Monday as they search for the body of an eight-year-old who fell into a creek near Melbourne Saturday.
Colder temperatures have thickened the ice for the three Ontario Provincial Police divers from the OPP search and recovery unit in Gravenhurst.
The divers are working with Melbourne volunteer firefighters to scour Gentleman creek where Kayla Maybee went missing.
OPP Const. praised the divers and volunteers Monday for their work in harsh conditions.
