Coun. Dale Henderson surprised colleagues Monday, announcing he’d found a $35-million Florida investor for London jet maker Diamond Aircraft.
As council mulled a Diamond motion — the firm is seeking a $35-million federal loan, to help launch a new jet — Henderson declared a conflict, saying he’d found willing investors.
Henderson indicated he’s made contact with Peter Maurer, Diamond’s chief executive.
His comments left some councillors raising their eyebrows.
