Police and firefighters are combing the Thames River near downtown looking for a man who fell into the frigid, fast flowing water.
One witness who asked not to be identified said the was on the riverbank near the Labatt plant at about 4 p.m..
Police said the victim is about 30 and is a resident of London. He was drinking with friends at the time near the river's edge.
The search is focused between Richmond St. and Wharncliffe Rd.
