Police officer charge with discreditable conduct


A Chatham-Kent Police Service constable pleaded not guilty to discreditable conduct and deceit under the Police Services Act during a hearing Monday.
Const. Stan Blonde, a six-year member, is accused of discreditable conduct after an incident that happened Jan. 19, 2010.
He was accused of pulling over his ex-girlfriend's new boyfriend on Jan. 19 and Jan. 27.
The woman, Janet Paxton, and her boyfriend at the time, Wes Hooker, complained of harassment to the CKPS.
