Emergency workers will resume their search for a homeless man who fell into the Thames River Tuesday, police said.
Police and firefighters raced to the south branch of the river along Horton St. and scoured both sides of the banks while firefighter marine rescue units rode boats up and down the river.
The search was called off Tuesday evening as the sun set.
"Its very dangerous out there," Rivest said. "The water is moving so fast."
